Resumen
The purpose of this research on the line Education and Art of the Master Graduate Education Program, Federal University of Santa Maria, is to analyze the construction of meanings through inputs from the field of Cyberculture by university lecturers / teachers of instrument. At the same time, to discuss the teaching of music technological context in contemporary society, showing the ways the bachelor university teachers in Music, UFRGS and UFSM, relate information technology and communication to their teaching practices, in order to investigate the consequences of these new technologies in the construction of meanings that emerge from their teaching practices. Further, to discuss the theme under the light of qualitative approach aimed at a broader understanding of the data, including the collection of information, reports, interviews, depositions, oral history, taken them as a whole, as a methodological tool for research. From the meanings constructed by researchers and collaborators, it is possible to think on a network, access, knowledge, as
perspective of new possibilities and places for social actors in the music conservatory. This research may help teachers as a reference tool about the possible
implications of cyberculture on the daily music education at college level.
