Resumen
The unfavorable conditions of work environment still persist, being them one of the greatest problems identified nowadays in some labor offices, exposing workers to intense work schedule, dangerous and unhealthy environments, high level of noise coming from machines and equipment, repetitive movements, inadequate posture, among others. That being, this study has as its objective to analyze the data found in the Worker Health Information System (SIST), from 2008 through 2011, from the Counties which are comprehended by the 4th Regional Health Office (4ª CRS/RS) in Rio Grande do Sul. Other objectives are to identify the sociodemographic and occupational data from the economically active population, notified through SIST; describe the economical activities found in the SIST from 2008 through 2011; calculate the risk occurrence rates in the counties of the 4th Regional Health Office/RS. The research involved secondary data which came from the SIST database, coming from the paper pattern form notifications, the RINA (Individual Report of Grievances Notifications), referring to the period from 2008 through 2011. The number of notifications totalized 3,901. The results regarding the sociodemographic variables pointed to a bigger occurrence with the male gender (74%) in relation to the female gender (26%), and as regarding the age group, the highest incidence was between 31 and 39 years of age corresponding to 1000 (38,2%) notifications. And as regarding the occupational variables, it was identified that the male gender presented a bigger number of accidents at work (2732) and the female gender (863) notifications, and regarding diseases related to work, the female gender presented a bigger number of notifications, being 156 notifications corresponding to the female gender and 150 to the male gender, and as to classification of economical activities, it was identified that the service department presented the greatest number of notifications (1442) in relation to the other departments of agriculture, industry and others. The calculation of risk occurrence rates enabled a better visualization of the grievances related to work concerning notifications and the economically active population by one thousand inhabitants in each county of 4ª CRS. Despite all the difficulties found with information sub-notifications, this study can demonstrate that the Single Health System (SUS) has better information for the development of public policies in the Worker Health.
