Jogo digital "Pedrinho e Pedrita conhecendo o mapa": avaliação por meio do método GameFlow

This study aimed to evaluate the digital game "Pedrinho e Pedrita conhecendo o mapa" through the GameFlow method. The review was carried out of the game, from a distance, with students of undergraduate courses in Geography and a Bachelor Degree from the Federal University of Santa Maria. To review, was developed and made available through the tool Google Drive, a questionnaire based on EGameFlow scale. The invitation to participate in the survey was sent via email to all students of Geography (around 250), of whom 33 were volunteers. From the results, it is emphasized that the research identified a number of strengths and weaknesses of the game with regard to metaphor, challenges, goals, immersion, and social interaction. The challenges, goals, ability to hold the attention and concentration of the player and the cartographic content discussed are positive points of the game, while the sense of immersion and social interaction can be identified as weaknesses. In this context, signal up possibilities for improvement of the game in controls and communication between players to allow the occurrence of an online interaction.
