La textura como recurso expresivo

Abstract

La textura es la característica particular de las superficies externas de los objetos. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo destacar su valor como recurso plástico y factor comunicativo,pues, la textura no solo es un componente de lo formal, sino que también es una parte importante para la expresión plástica, por cuanto esta permite una personalización del objeto artístico por parte del escultor, quien dota a sus obras de características propias, como una huella, que es parte definitoria de la obra artística. En el mundo que habitamos todo tiene textura, la que, a lo largo de la vida de cada individuo, se impregna en la memoria, creando un archivo de recuerdos y sensaciones a partir del mundo material.
