Diseño, ejecución y evaluación de un proyecto comunitario que se dedicará a la crianza, producción y comercialización de cuyes en la Parroquia de Calacalí

Abstract

El presente trabajo de tesis está orientado a incentivar el diseño, ejecución y evaluación de un proyecto comunitario que se dedicará a la crianza, producción y comercialización de cuyes en la Parroquia de Calacali, con el propósito de obtener los volúmenes de producción necesarios para ser comercializados en el mercado local impulsando la asociación comunitaria y ayudando a mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes de la Parroquia. Durante el desarrollo del proyecto, se pondrá de manifiesto la alta informalidad en lacrianza del cuy que está vinculada a la intensa actividad doméstica de las familias rurales y marginadas. Esto ha propiciado una oferta poco diferenciada debido al escaso desarrollo de canales de distribución comercial. Además de la alta barrera para la crianza de manera técnica,el pequeño criador afronta un riesgo sanitario cuando las enfermedades que puede contraer el cuy no son tratadas oportunamente por la falta de recursos.En este sentido, el presente documento pretende convertirse en un instrumento que permita a los miembros de las comunidades rurales conocer los lineamientos básicos para llevar adelante una crianza técnica del cuy,aprovechando los recursos de la zona, mejorando la alimentación y generando ingresos económicos adicionales para el presupuesto familiar.

The present work of thesis is orientated to stimulate the design, execution and evaluation of a community project that one will dedicate to the upbringing, production and commercialization of Guinea Pigs in the parish of Calacalí, with the intention of obtaining the necessary volumes of production of to be commercialized on the local market stimulating the community association and helping to the improve of the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Parish. During the development of the project, the high informality will be revealed in the upbringing of the guinea pig that is linked to the intense domestic activity of the rural and excluded families. This has propitiated an offer little differed due to the scarce development of channels of commercial distribution. Besides the high barrier for the upbringing of a technical way the small breeder confronts a sanitary risk when the illnesses that it can contract the guinea pig are not treated appropriately by the lack of resources.In this sense, the present document tries to turn into an instrument that allows to the members of the rural communities to know the basic lineaments to take forward a technical upbringing of the guinea pig, making use of the resources of the zone, improving the feeding and generating additional economic income for the family budget.
