The research compared the performance of inhibitory control in children with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD, n = 14) and a control group (n = 14), using a test signal Stop (Stop Signal). Children were included to have the diagnosis provided by a professional and provided not have any other underlying condition; the control group exhibited no diagnosed psychopathology. The results indicated that children with ODD showed poor control impulses compared to the control group. The results are discussed in terms of reaction time (TR) as they are thrown by the Stop Signal test.
