This article aims to present some data about the implementation of the National Teacher's Library Program - Teacher's PNBE (2010 and 2013) in the action of acquiring and distributing books for teachers from public schools. In view of this, we asked: how was the process of implementation and distribution of the Teacher's PNBE in the editions of 2010 and 2013 in four schools at Primavera do Leste, Mato Grosso? Thus, the present study used the quantitative and qualitative research, consisting of documentary research to understand and to detail some informations about the Program and the case study to demonstrate the data regarding the (dis) uses of the materials distributed for teacher training. The reading of this article allows reflections on the reading in the constitution of the teaching profession, pointing out the importance of the teachers to know the works of PNBE to develop individual and/or collective actions that promote the use of the book collections.
