Resumen
A simple, rapid and accurate direct method has been developed for the determination of bromazepam in pharmaceutical formulations using second-derivative absorption spectrophotometry. Methanol was used as the solvent for extracting the drug from the formulations. The calibration graph was a straigh line (r=0.9989), passing through the origin. The proposed method was succesfully applied to determine bromazepam in pharmaceutical formulations and the ingredients commonly found in commercial tablets do not interfere.
