A new vector for the structure the H. P. Schultz topological index.

Abstract

A new vector (V-c) is proposal for structure the topological index of H. P. Schultz (2-MTI). This vector contain elements that correspond to the electron charge density soported on the carbon atoms of the molecule and originate the new topological index denominated C-or. The C-or index present a bigger correlation with the logarithm of the relative retention time of 30 saturated hydrocarbons than the H. P. Schultz, H. Wiener and A.T. Balaban index.
