Abstract

The National Electoral Council of Colombia is according to Articles 113 and 120 constitutional an autonomous and independent agency in the state structure, it is the authority responsible for the scrutiny of national elections and has regulatory functions, of electoral guarantees and oversight of process and electoral actors, which has major implications for the democratic model.
