Papel de la diplomacia cultural de corea del sur para consolidar su marca país en Colombia en el periodo 2011- 2013

This research aims to analyze the role of South Korea’s Cultural Diplomacy in the positioning of its nation brand in Colombia between the years 2011 and 2013. Given the above, this paper try to demonstrate that, since 2011, South Korea’s cultural diplomacy has been used as a systematic and harmonious strategy of the Korean Government of Lee Myung Bak, in partnership with the public and private sectors, in order to position its nation brand in Colombia and to promote, through the "Korean Wave", the demand of educational and traditional and contemporary cultural products by the Colombian society. Since this is a case study that addresses specific experiences over a period of 3 years, the methodological design for this investigation will be lengthwise, within a qualitative research framework, using documentary analysis as the main technique.
