Resumen
AbstractIntroductionIn order to estimate the prevalence of bone cement (SICO) syndrome in patients undergoing hip arthroplasty cemented at the University Hospital Mayor Mederi 2014. Materials and methods An observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted, records of medicales records of patients who underwent cementless hip arthroplasty from January to December 2014 assessed the prevalence of the total number of cases of SICO over total was estimated surgery and mortality in the number intra operative deaths on the total number of patients who developed SICO. Results102 patients cementless hip arthroplasty were found; 73. 5% of female gender, the median age was 82 years, the prevalence of SICO was 0. 96 x 100 procedures and mortality of 7. 14 x 100 events (1 case), the event was more was often associated blood loss < 300ml (p. valor: 0. 006), the remaining differences between recognized risk factors were not statistically significant . Discusión SICO prevalence was estimated for 2014 in the HUM, the blood loss were shown to be more related syndrome, prospective studies are required to explore outcomes in time for the presentation of SICO and additional risk factors KeywordsHypotension / diagnosis, Prevalence, Arthroplasty, Replacement, Hip / adverse effects, Bone Cements / adverse effects, Postoperative Complications / etiology and Postoperative Complications / chemically induced
