Resumen
The city of Bogotá is a new scenario where different kinds of social, politic, economic and cultural dynamics coexist, suffering diverse types of deterioration and changes in their physical structures. San Victorino is a commercial core, where for the last seventeen years, it has been center of all sort of urbanistic interventions, which allow us to analyze the occupation of public space, use of land, better states of connectivity and the strengthening of commercial activity phenomenon. The main objective of this research is to analyze the impact of Urban Renovation process, since 1998 to 2014, in the informality and the popular economy. Thus, this research aim to prove that the urban renovation process does actively influence in the informal economic activity, creating dislocated interventions which make impossible to originate transformations in the land and a complete process of recovery in the urban aspect.
