Abstract

The thesis is a short documentary that tells the story of self-management and leadership of a community that lives in one of the so-called "pirate neighborhoods" or illegal settlements in Bogotá. The neighborhood "Ramirez" located in the center - east, is an example of self - management, delivery of its leaders and enthusiasm of the inhabitants of the area. In this neighborhood, where there is poverty and dirt, as they themselves say, a community space is built dedicated to the recreation of children: A pirate ship made with debris and material. That is what shows the history of this pirate ship that advances by a pirate district.
