Abstract

This article examines the process of the development of urban legislation in Colombia throughout the twentieth century. The anal­ysis is based on a general review of the dis­cussions conceming the transformations of the law from the perspective of the crisis of mo­dernity -particularly based on French schol­ rship and literature-, and about the changes performed in developing countries with re­gard to conceptions and practices of urban planning and organization.
