Resumen
Introduction: Burnout syndrome is an entity that in recent years has reached high prevalence in the workplace and with these its serious consequences, both for the health of the worker and for the proper functioning of organizations, so it is necessary to establish preventive and therapeutic measures that allow to face this threat.
Objective: to establish the effectiveness of the different preventive and control interventions carried out for the Burnout syndrome.
Methods: Systematic review of the literature of articles published in the last 10 years, in the Pubmed, Science Direct, Medigraphic Redalyc and Psicodoc databases. Systematic reviews and original articles that were found in Spanish and English were included, using the search terms interventions, Burnout, prevention and stress. Twenty-nine articles were selected taking into account interventions for the prevention and treatment of Burnout, both individual and organizational and the dimensions included in this syndrome.
Results: Relaxation and mindfulness techniques at the individual level are among the most effective for the management of this syndrome, although the organizational interventions show better results and more lasting, but require the willingness to implement by companies.
Conclusions: It shows marked effectiveness in the intervention strategies carried out in the working population at the individual level, significantly reducing the stress levels that trigger the Burnout syndrome; however, there is a greater decrease in Burnout with interventions at the organizational level with long-term effects, although more studies are needed to confirm this.
