Resumen
The main objective of this study case is to analyze how the participation of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development in the Project “Cordón Ambiental y Tradiconal de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta” (2011- 2014) brings new elements to the dynamics of international cooperation for Indigenous Development. The text contextualizes the situation of indigenous rights in terms of development. Also, gives a reflection of the results presented by the agency, and the collected items from the dialogue with indigenous (Arhuacos), highlighting the cultural indigenous values and ways of thinking, that puts on discussion the consideration about the issues of Millennium Development Goals and new conceptual limelight as the Buen Vivir
