Nowadays, international trade barriers are becoming less and less tangible among the different markets, increasing the opportunities for commercialization of goods and services between countries. However, it is very common to still find stories of failure in the efforts of different medium and small entrepreneurs who at the time decided to take the path of internationalization of their companies and because of different factors, may be ignorance of international commercial laws, misinformation of the target market or simply by situations outside their business, they suffer this adversity and left aside their impulse and interest to internationalize. For this reason, we have focused our efforts on trying to identify the different potentialities and opportunities that the Colombian entrepreneur can have in four states of United States. New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Nebraska specifically. The methodology to be developed throughout this research mainly collects qualitative and quantitative information that will allow us to break down various aspects in greater depth, so that the interested entrepreneur has a clearer picture of what can be found in the states mentioned above.
