Resumen
This research work has as its main goal to describe and analyse the relations that existed between the Anarcho-syndicalist collectivisations in Barcelona and the foreign policy of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). This works stands for the position that due to the Moscow’s determination of achieving a Collective Security policy in Europe, Soviet intervention in Spanish territory promoted the negative circumstances for the end of collectivisations: creating divisions within the anarcho-syndicalist structure, as well as creating disputes with Communist forces loyal to the Kremlin. This study of case uses concepts as Collective Security, collectivisations and anarcho-syndicalism for its development, which through the critical of primary and secondary sources, aims to give a response to the paradoxical relationship that existed between both actors.
