Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of the Centro Forjar Ciudad Bolivar in recidivism of criminal acts of juvenile offenders, based on the theory of restorative justice that seeks to generate from the Criminal Responsibility System for Adolescents in Colombia. Thus, it is intended to demonstrate that, as a public policy to generate a restorative justice, its implementation has been instrumental in the area, to generate a process of social reintegration and assistance to prevent recidivism of criminal acts of these adolescents. To achieve this objective, it will be used a qualitative methodological analysis, based on studies of primary sources, fieldwork from interviews conducted in the Centro Forjar Ciudad Bolivar, to understand the impact of public policy in the area.
