Resumen
The objective of this investigation is to determine the feasibility of the internationalization process in Digitoil Ltda in Latin America in the short-term and in the Middle East in the long-term. To get there, first we are going to make a diagnostic of the situation of the company, in terms of marketing, operations, finance and human resources, and, with that information determine its weaknesses and strengths.
The result of the diagnostic will help us to identify the opportunities of growth and an improvement plan will be developed to sort out the current restrictions based on the present situation of the company.
A market matrix, in which we evaluate 8 objective countries, will give us the 3 most attractive markets, based on the analysis of variables that help us to identify the opportunities to start an expansion process in those countries. Once we chose the target market, an alternate one and a contingency market, we will proceed to analyze different aspects of the country, such as entry barriers, strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats; potential clients, market segment, competence and logistics.
A necessary action plan and some recommendations will be made at the end to strength the company in its internationalization process.
