Abstract

Early inpatient outcome of acute occupational trauma attended “during the week/ weekend”, in a third level hospital institution, Bogota, 2007 – 2010 Abstract Aim. The early impatient outcome of acute occupational trauma, (AOT) can be constrained to local industrial development in relation to the moment in the week when the event presents itself, reason for which we evaluated the differences in early clinical outcomes of workers who presented the AOT in different moments of the week. Methodology. A descriptive retrospective study was done using one of the administrative databases of workers attended for an AOT in the week (ES) and in the weekend (FdS) according to clinical/ sociodemographic variables and the average of hospital stay (EH), and the risk of death or a specific trauma.
