Present work assignment in order to obtain a bachelor degree in Business administration consists in a basic diagnosis to assess and analyze the creation and structure of a marketing department in RHODIA Colombia, taking into account company’s current expansion intention to chemical markets in Colombia. To achieve this intent it is necessary that this new department will be able to carry out research processes aligned with the marketing strategies that develops RHODIA in Brazil, and also provide to the company’s trading valuable information in order to locate efforts in the potential markets for RHODIA, as well as to the markets in which it has been positioned SOLVAY in Colombia. The expectations are based on establishing a well structured marketing department able to carry out processes “Business to Business” in pro to seek new market opportunities. Strengthen the commercial presence in strategic market niches and monitor the markets for the company to anticipate events before the fortunes of the subsectors where Rhodia Colombia products interact.
