First of all, a significant part of the work on this study involved collecting information concerning the global environmental, in terms of sociological researching. In fact, I draw up a fresh feedback on the Environmental Sociology subdiscipline. In particular, it is far from being just a standard procedure, therefore it has been developed as a strategic proposal and action plan, during which it let us ask questions like the following: How would it become just to receive their legitimate claims and adequate it- the right of all people? How it would like to see its convincing practices and its symbolic effects, in the broader context of certain discursive strategies and environmental policy?
Likewise, more detailed information of the history of REDD+ strategies can be found in the part two on this research, specifying its main characteristics and how it is founded. Together with that, I show the most discussed cases and experiences in Latin America, on the basis of which I made observations and comments. I look into the increasing problem of the REDD+ strategies in Colombia, although, I focused on a case study of the Amazon and the specific proposal of RIA (it stands for Amazon Indigenous REDD+ or “REDD+ Indígena Amazónico”).
It was thus important to study the actors´ perspectives, who are part of those strategies, I mean, institutional actors, public or private international organizations, and scholars in the humanities, and finally, the indigenous communities. I
