O inconsciente, do sentido do significante ao gozo da letra: um estudo lacaniano

Abstract

Esse artigo propõe discutir o percurso teórico do psicanalista francês Jacques Lacan, ao distinguir a letra do campo do significante, não apenas do ponto de vista de literalidade e estrutura localizada do significante, mas como elemento que vincula algo da ordem pulsional, do gozo. Assim, Lacan sugere pensar o inconsciente como letra, indo além da noção do inconsciente estruturado como uma linguagem. Nos anos 1970, a partir da noção de enxame de significantes, estar-se-ia, então, sob a perspectiva de um inconsciente “letrificado”, real, tendo em vista a possibilidade de a letra trazer a dimensão de lalíngua, noção que evidencia um gozo entrevisto no sem sentido dos significantes. Finalmente, o artigo apresenta uma discussão contemporânea acerca de dois estatutos do inconsciente: transferencial e real.

The goal of this article is to discuss the theoretical trajectory of French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan in distinguishing the letter from the field of the signifier, not only from the point of view of literalness and of the localized structure of the signifier, but as an element that entails something of the pulsation of the unconscious, of the field of jouissance. Lacan proposes a conceptualization of the unconscious as letter, going beyond the notion of the unconscious structured as language. In the 1970s, based on the notion of an ensemble of signifiers, and from the perspective of a real, “letterized” unconscious that accounts for the possibility that the letter has the dimension of language, within the perspective of an unconscious “as letter” he pointed to the joy derived from the nonsensical nature of signifiers.
