This monograph represents a deepening and extension in three topics of interest: Corporate culture, complexity science and organizational performance. Based on previous pieces of work that made a description of the previous mentioned topics and the possible links within them, this document follows and adds new perspectives with the purpose of generating more contributions and reflections in the academic and business world on this referenced topics.
It starts with corporate culture and the identification of its visible components referring also this factor as a source of transformation and change acceptance in organizations. Then, it presents important concepts on complexity science and the systems theory, such as, agents, attractors, Non-linearity and self-organization.
The document also reviews antecedents and current measures of organizational performance, proposing Jensen’s Alpha as a possible candidate measure to gauge the impact of corporate culture holding the principles of complexity science revised.
