La política comercial de Estados Unidos en el marco de la Organización Mundial del Comercio. Discurso vs. comportamiento con relación a prácticas anticompetitivas
McAllister Harker, Daniela
The main objective of this thesis is to identify the reasons justifying the contradictions between discourse and behavior of the United States within the World Trade Organization, especially in relation to anticompetitive practices derived from its agricultural protection program. In order to do this, the theory analyzes national interest and the elements of national security that construct it. Additionally, the project analyzes the processes formulating trade policies and interactions between policymakers, agricultural trade unions and the private sector to demonstrate how this contradictory behavior corresponds to the legitimation of a particular interest.
