Abstract

The infanticide, understood as an act of kill a newborn in the province of Antioquia, between 1765 and 1803 is the central issue of this investigation. the aspects that reveals the selection of a murder method, the importance of honor for the slaves and their masters , and the familiars configurations are examinated in this text, offering refreshing perspectives of the colonial history in Nueva Granada.
