Abstract

The friend-enemy duality in the texts of Carl Schmitt, reflected in current systems of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law based in the differentiation of victim-victimizer and civil-fighter, is questioned by civilians, who are not fighters, but are involved in the conflict dynamics.
