This document will show all the analysis and studies to determine the feasibility of a retail business based on dispensing food and beverage, known as "Fruit Bar" or "Juice Bar”, this business specifically provides nutritional drinks made of fresh fruit, which offer the option to add them vitamin supplements that give health benefits and might be accompanied by healthy and nutritious food.
The establishment aims to promote a lifestyle through healthy and balanced eating.
The project would include food lines to be an accompaniment to the shakes and smoothies, which must satisfy strictly the concept of healthy and nutritious.
The “fruit bar” or “juice bar” offers the option to obtain a drink that refresh and nourish at the same time, with the possibility to acquire nutritional supplements such as vitamins, minerals and proteins.
The main products will be offered would be shakes, smoothies and soft drinks prepared from blends of natural fruit. Customers could add natural ingredients like soy, yogurt, milk, honey and nutritional supplements such as calcium, vitamins and proteins and other vitamin supplements.
The company will follow a business model of beverages and food processing at the sales point, the distribution will be selective and direct.
The purpose of this paper is to show the methodology developed for the evaluation of financial feasibility for the operation of the first outlet in the city of Bogotá, and the reasons why the project is financially feasible.
