El proceso de construcción de la identidad del Cabildo Indígena Ambiká-Pijao en el marco de la Política Pública para Pueblos Indígenas en la localidad de Usme. (2005-2015)

The purpose of this diagnostic is to analyze the process of identity building of the Cabildo Indígena Ambika-Pijao localized at the district of Usme in Bogota, from 2005 to 2015. This diagnose seeks to analyze the identity within the framework of the Public Policy for Indigenous Peoples of Bogota, taking as central variables the territory and its loss, because of the displacement, in many cases forced, culture, and characteristics which means the indigenous peoples in urban contexts. Based on these phenomena, the main characteristics of the community and individuals that are part of it, are studied in order to propose some challenges from the political institutions about the development and implementation of multicultural policies of recognition in the case of indigenous peoples present in the urban areas.
