This research work aims to provide the reader with the necessary tools to export fresh meat to the Canadian market through the implementation of a comprehensive plan, involving the optimal production process for the production of animal flesh, to fulfil the objective of expanding the availability of fine cuts of meat in the overseas market.
First, we made a detailed explanation of the product, the production process and the meat sector in Colombia. After, we made a statement of the conditions under which an animal must grow to produce the best quality meat. It also reports on the current situation in the meat sector and the strengths and weaknesses that have to expand the international market. Subsequently an investigation marked in the country under study is to show the opportunities and obstacles that can be found in Canada.
On the second place, we analyse the competition that the Colombian product has, comprising the analysis of export digits for the Canadian partners to sell the product, to finally design a document created for entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, businessman and / or farmers looking for ways to expand theirs business in Canada, with all the steps needed to make the export process in the most productive and efficient manner.
