Mozart Pereira Soares: o caboclinho de Palmeira das Missões : um enciclopedista que revela suas raízes : 1993

Abstract

Esta tese consiste em focar, para além da história de vida de Dr. Mozart, os processos marcantes sofridos do ponto de vista cultural, político e econômico da região de Palmeira das Missões. A obra e a representatividade de Dr. Mozart, no cenário gaúcho, contribuem para a construção de uma identidade própria para Palmeira das Missões e aponta um contexto histórico e cotidiano da vida no campo, as transformações da vida urbana no interior. Esse novo espaço de investigação histórica torna-se importante, a partir das práticas, desse intelectual como a preservação do meio ambiente, erudição demonstrada através do estudo nas diversas áreas do conhecimento, o positivismo e a sua preocupação com a posteridade quando em 1987 concluia o curso de Direito. A literatura regional ganha importância com sua obra poética, possuindo um caráter científico, histórico, político denotando os aspectos relacionados a cultura local vivenciada pelo autor em sua infância, revelando assim grandes perspectivas históricas.

This thesis consists in focus, to beyond the history of Dr. Mozart’s life, the remarkable process suffered from the cultural, political and economical point of view, of the Palmeira das Missões’s region. The work and the representativity of Dr. Mozart in the gaucho scenario, contribute to the construction of an own identity to Palmeira das Missões and they points to a historical context and the day by day life in the countryside, the transformations of the urban life in the interior zone. This new space of historical investigation becames important, from the practices of this intellectual man as the environmental preservation, erudition showed through the study in the diverses areas of the knowledge, the positivism and his concern about the posteriori, when in 1987 he concluded the Law School, The regional literature earns importance with his poetic work, that possess a scientific, historical, politic character, it denotating the aspects related to the local culture, lived by the author in his childhood, revealing, so, great historical perspectives.
