Resumen

RESUMEN: En muestreos realizados en 18 estaciones establecidas en el golfo de Cariaco, se recolectaron 427 ejemplaresde poliquetos de hábitos sedentarios. Se identificaron 54 especies, de las cuales 25 constituyen nuevos registros para el golfoy 20 son nuevos registros para Venezuela. ABSTRACT: Fifty-four sedentary polychaete species were identified out of 427 collected in 18 stations in the gulf ofCariaco, 25 constituting new records for the gulf and 20 for Venezuela.
