| dc.description | This work -which is part of a broader research project upon tne institutional spaces of the modern economy- is an initial reflection about the first experiment in the building of a postnational institutional space. It contains a chronology of the different stages in the European approaching toward a new kind of collective identity, with special attention to the Common currency and to the challenges associated with the enlargement, the unemployment problem, the economic links with the Third world countries and the definition (still in the making) of an socio-economic organization that seems to be different of the US patterns. | |
