Resumen
In Santa Rosa de Viterbo, Boyacá, in the house where the poet and diplomat Carlos Arturo Torres Peña was born, there is an art collection consists of three art galleries: the Hernández collection, which included works by the 20 to 40 artists important for the national art from the first half of the twentieth century. Second are some busts made by the magister José Domingo Rodríguez work in which we can appreciate different aesthetic positions in front of his sculptural production. And finally we found some colonial buildings to which make them an iconographic trace to contextualize them within the artistic production of the time. The important thing about these works is the fact that they are little-known works in the production of the authors and the collection as such has no history of being studied and instead oblivion, dust, poor maintenance, lack of its great heritage value and legal disputes endanger the lost.
