A través
355-359 laura.antillano@gmail.com Cuatrimestral This article suggests an approach to the concepts of identity
and literature and how the reader brings and appropriates
the text. Through the article there is a description
of how the reader takes charge of the story by taking the
role of the characters and assuming the plots. Based on a
hermeneutical and documentary analysis, this article also
seeks to see how identification is experienced by readers
when approaching the text. Analyses of the concepts identity
and otherness are made by means of examples taken from children’s Ibero-American literature in order to find out the elements that favor text reception.
