El embarazo es un estado fisiológico que debido a su importancia tiene repercusión en el ámbito jurídico. En este trabajo afronta al embarazo tomando en cuenta la ontogénesis del ser humano abordando los aspectos médicos tales como pubertad, la espermatogénesis, la ovogénesis y la fecundación. También desde una perspectiva jurídica, este hecho biológico que lleva implícito el nacimiento de un nuevo individuo, incide directamente en el Derecho Familiar, en el Derecho Sucesorio, Derecho Penal, Derecho Laboral, llevando implícito el propósito de proteger la existencia del ser humano como centro y meta de la acción jurídico-política. Por otro lado, se analizan los aspectos medicolegales importantes como las pruebas diagnósticas, los tipos de embarazos y la data de la gestación.77-94aubinu@ula.vePregnancy is a physiological state that due to its importance has a remarked impact in the legal field. This paperwork confronts the pregnancy, regarding to the ontogenesis of the human being by addressing the medical aspects such as puberty, spermatogenesis, ovogenesis and fertilization. Also, from a legal perspective, this biological fact implies the birth of a new individual, and has a direct bearing on the Family Law, on the Succession Law, Criminal Law, Labor Law and because of that, it is known that it has the implicit purpose to protect the existence of the human being as the center and goal of the legal-political action. On the other hand, this research work analyzes the medicolegal issues as important as the diagnostic tests, the types of pregnancies and the data of the gestation.
