21-38 pascualmora@cantv.net semestral The August 06, 1851 Chapter Meeting was the first foregoing of official
regulation in the pedagogical knowledge at the “La Grita” Canton: there, a teacher's
statute, a school's regulation, knowledge stratification, and a punishment dosage
were established. A review of the by-law allows finding out the pedagogical
foregoing in which it is based; specially the catechizer teaching and the Lancastrian
method heritage. At the same time, nevertheless, it is demonstrated the lack of
consequent pedagogical models influenced by the active educators.
