Se evaluaron 5 casos (3 mujeres y 2 hombres, edad: 30-52 años) con patología periapical que requerían de relleno de la cavidad con un biomaterial (hidroxiapatita) y una sutura química (cianocrilato). Se hizo un seguimiento clínico y radiográfico a los 7, 30 y 90 días post-tratamiento de la lesión, obteniéndose una cicatrización de los tejidos blandos y una progresiva radiopacidad indicativa de regeneración ósea, aún si existe pérdida del material debido a una dehiscencia parcial de la lesión; por lo tanto, la combinación de hidroxiapatita con el cianocrilato de n-butilo constituye una alternativa en el tratamiento quirúrgico de lesiones periapicales.40-45reynaldo@ula.veanagb@ula.velorenadavila@ula.vegvelazco@ula.veWe were evaluated 5 cases (3 women and 2 men, age: 30-52 years) with pathology periapical, that they were need of obturation of the cavity with a biomaterial (hydroxyapatite) and a suture chemical (cyanoacrylate).
