dc.descriptionFundamentar la vocación radicalmente humanista del cristianismo y a través de ésta proponer la superación del “racionalismo absoluto” del humanismo moderno y de su legado a la contemporaneidad ha sido el propósito de la antropología y de la filosofía política y de la historia de Jacques Maritain. El trabajo aborda la vinculación entre este propósito y las tesis principales del pensamiento maritainiano asociadas al mismo, tales como el humanismo integral; el teocentrismo; la integralidad de la razón; el carácter ambivalente de la historia; la intrínseca naturaleza moral del orden político, entre otras.

dc.descriptionArguing about the radical humanist vocation of Christianism and to propose the overwhelming of the “absolute rationalism” which characterizes the modern humanism and its legacy to our time, has been the purpose of Jacques Maritain’s Anthropology and Political and History’s Philosophy. This paper shows the relation between this purpose and the principal thesis of his thinking: the dual character of the history; the integrity of the reason; the inside moral nature of the political order, and others.
