Memoria y Corte en la España de Carlos II

Abstract

En el presente artículo se busca analizar la construcción y difusión de unas determinadas memorias de la Corte de Carlos II a partir de los diferentes agentes que intervinieron durante su reinado en el proceso de creación de estas. Así, se analizan diferentes agentes (cortesanos) de la memoria en función de las fuentes: las memorias del marqués de Villars, algunas vidas particulares que influyeron en la construcción de una memoria a partir de su acción política en la Corte, y por último, la labor de los cronistas regios.

This article analyzes the construction and diffusion of certain memories of Charles II´s Court by departing from the different agents that intervened during his reign in the construction of these same memories. In this way, this text analyses these different agents (courtiers) based on the following sources: the memoirs of Marquis of Villar, some particular lives that had influenced the construction of a memory from its political role in the Court, and at last, the royal chroniclers.
