Trade and Investment Between Chile and the United States 1990

Abstract

Economic and political relations between Chile and the United States have improved and increased over the past year. Figures and comments contained in this report show the continuous growth of our relationship in the areas of trade and investment. The two countries had expertenced difficulties in their relations rooted in the past which limited the dynamism oftheir bilateral relationship. Those difficulties have been resolved. As the figures and comments in this document show. the future clearly holds important opportunities for growth. diversification and progress in the relationship between Chile and the United States.
