Resumen
El presente trabajo es una investigación monográfica cuyo objetivo es abordar las relaciones de apropiación, del territorio y la territorialidad del nativo ancestral del resguardo Palma Alta ubicado en el municipio de Natagaima, Tolima, Colombia. Trabajo desarrollado desde el enfoque, investigación - acción tomando como referentes teóricos las categorías territorio desde el autor Gustavo Montañez, territorialidad desde Ovidio Delgado Mahecha, y Danilo Rodríguez Valbuena e identidad abordada desde Gilberto Gimenez. Utilizando como categoría transversal la pedagogía intercultural critica desde la perspectiva de Catherine Walsh. La investigación se centra en visibilizar las relaciones que establecen los nativos ancestrales con su territorio y como a través de ellas se configura una identidad cultural, individual y colectiva de la comunidad, sujeta a sus vivencias, cosmovisiones usos y costumbres heredadas de la resistencia del pueblo Pijao el cual según el estado colombiano ha sido exterminado, de allí surge mi interés en poner en evidencia su riqueza cultural, territorial e identitaria. Trabajo que quedará para la comunidad del resguardo en una cartilla orientadora denominada Viajando Por mi Palma Alta que evidenciará la configuración de los procesos propios que conforman la identidad, el territorio y la territorialidad de acceso para propios y visitantes, facilitando la comprensión de las realidades del resguardo e implementándose en la escuela.
