Resumen
This work describes the self-assembly of stable gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) on microcrystal faces of ?cyclodextrin inclusion compound (?CD-IC). giving as result a supramolecular arrangement (Fig. 1). That was obtained by means of magnetron sputtering technique. Comparison of 13C CP-MAS NMR spectra for pure ?CD-IC with those for ?CD-IC interacting with AuNPs evidenced different orientation of the guest into the channels of the matrix of ?CD. The UV-Vis spectrum, recorded in diffuse reflection, revealed a maximum extinction around 525nm assignable to the plasmon band of aggregated AuNPs. SEM images proved the homogeneity of the sample as well as the expected spherical shape of the AuNPs and preferential deposition of these AuNPs on determined crystal faces. TEM images show that the obtained AuNPs average size is 2.6 nm.
