dc.description.abstractThe invention relates to the use of a phenolic extract of unifloral ulmo (Eucryphia cordifolia,) honey, which can be used as a disinfectant and a sanitizer for sanitary and domestic use, as well as for topical or systemic application as a bactericide or fungicide for living beings, such as animals and humans. The invention also relates to the method for obtaining the phenolic extract of unifloral ulmo honey and to a natural disinfectant and sanitizer composition containing at least 60% water-soluble phenolic extracts of unifloral ulmo honey by way of active ingredient and at most 40% of an acceptable excipient.
