Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in recent years are widely used by the majority of the population because they are easy to access and continuous use tools. Making use of digital resources in the educational context facilitates the teaching-learning process, as it allows teaching to take place in a participative, motivating and interactive way. In Teaching Biology, teachers generally teach theoretical classes and rarely perform practical classes, mainly in relation to histology contents. In view of this, the present work aimed to develop a software for cellular called digital histological atlas. For the creation of the technological tool, initially the teachers of two schools were interviewed and that, based on the diagnosis made with the main contents of histology in High School, it was selected the organs and tissues that would be part of the digital Atlas, Then using the DADI Methodology (Definition / Architecture / Design / Implementation), the software was created and made available for use in the mobile phone. The results obtained evidenced positive opinions of the teachers, who recognized the importance of a technological resource for the Teaching of Histology, due to the problems faced in the school, where the main one is the absence of microscopes, as well as to use an accessible tool that is inserted In the students' daily lives. With the main reasons alleged by the teachers absence of ideal conditions of the school, lack of availability of teaching materials, lack of interest of the students, overcrowded rooms, among other problems that favor the non performance of practical classes. The creation of a technological tool allows differentiated strategies that can be used by teachers in Biology Teaching, since it is a resource that provides interaction and contributes to the formation of a critical citizen.
