Resumen
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) In order to improve the reliability of the energy system, a variety of techniques to access the condition monitoring of important equipment connected to the network have been developed in the past decades. However, it is important to choose the adequate method when evaluating the behavior of these devices. In this way, the current work aims to compare three techniques used to evaluate the condition of metal oxide surge arrester based on the decomposition of leakage current into its capacitive and resistive components. Each method was described in detail and their results compared.
