Resumen
The studies on Urban Geography in Brazil, precisely those related to small towns, require more research. This research aims to identify the so called "minor geographies" through images of the street market and the artisanal production of cassava flour in a small town of Bahia's southwest, called Candiba (BA). Its assumptions were based on the literature review, mainly about "minor geographies" and about the everyday life in small towns; afterwards, from the photographic records, we bring out a brief discussion about the importance of street markets as recreation area and reinforcement of cultural identities, as well as the cultural wealth which endures, in the 21st century, from the families that collectively produce cassava flour for consumptions purposes. 6 2 71 83
