This research analyzes speech data from three aphasic subjects in situations where the language is put into practice in CCA, Community Center for Aphasics, from Unicamp, in order to reaffirm the role of the other in the speech restructuring in aphasia. For that, we confront 1) ratings and symptoms of this condition; 2) functions of some areas of the brain and theories of language; 3) speech in enunciative and discursive contexts. This triad is observed especially enlighted by studies by authors as Freud (1891) and Luria (1966, 1992, 1970), which investigated the functional characteristics of the language and the brain. Also we assume conceptions about aphasia, speech and subjectivity of language discussed by Jakobson (1956/2003), Benveniste (1976, 1989) and Coudry, this last one in "Diário de Narciso" (1986/88), a work that marks the first step that founded the Neurolinguística Discursiva. So, from this theoretical field, we emphasize the importance of the "other" for the speech restructuring affected by aphasia, pathology caused by a brain injury that is revealed differently in each patient, although their injuries are in similar locations in their brains. It occurs in the cases of CF, AM and BM, whose speeches are analyzed for this work. And, further, some assertions about the language, according to Sacks (2010) and Pires (1997), called to emphasize the position of the aphasics and their unique paths in the organization of language, is taken into account and discussed Mestrado Linguistica Mestre em Linguística CAPES
